Common Questions for First Time Visitors
Do I need to call ahead or schedule my visit?
No. We are open 7 days a week, from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 pm. There is no need to call ahead or make an appointment.
How does it work?
You come, take what you need. That's it. If you know you're going to need more than one meal, by all means take more than one meal. You do not need to write down where you're from or how much you took.
Who does the farm serve?
All food and clothing is available to anyone in need. We do ask that if you have the ability to donate, by all means you can leave a donation in the money box on the wall above the freezer.
We ask for $1 donation per clothing item, if you are able.
Can I donate food?
Yes! We can take items that need to be frozen, refrigerated or dry goods. Please see the Donate page for specific details about what is needed— and what is being accepted— at any given time.
Can I donate clothing?
We ask that you reach out to us about clothing items as we do not have a lot of space. If you have items you'd like to donate we only take certain amounts at a time so that we don't have too much in a small space. How often can I come?
We asked that people in need come once a week, but we will never deny anyone who is in need if they need to come back. If you have to take more than normal, you can just send us a message giving us a heads up so we know when to restock.
Do I have to be from Meredith to use this food pantry?
Absolutely not! If you can get here, you can use our resources.
